TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. BOOKING AND PAYMENTS
1.1 Rates and Currency:
Rates are quoted ex-Maldives (Arrival/Departure Male) and are in USD. Rates vary throughout the year with seasonal periods as follows:
- Jan 15th to Apr
- May to Oct
- Nov to Dec 20th
- Dec 21st - Jan 15th
1.2 Booking Process:
All bookings must be made through Fleetfoot Adventures.
1.3 Advance Payment:
A non refundable advance payment of 30% is required at the time of booking. Payment is to be made in India upon registration, a minimum of 45 days before the scheduled dive date. Payment to be made in INR in the name of Fleetfoot Adventures.
1.4 Balance Payment:
The balance is due upon arrival at the dive location, to be paid in USD.
2. Visa Requirements
2.1. Visa:
No visa is required for The Maldives, but your passport must be valid for at least 6 months. For other diving destinations, a visa may be necessary, and we will assist you.
3. Packages
3.1. Non-Transferable:
Packages are non-transferable and cannot be shared
3.2. Usage:
All package components must be used within the specified time frame.
3.3. Changes:
Changes to packages must be requested in writing and are subject to availability and additional charges.
3.4. Inclusions:
The package includes certifications and dives (depending on the package), scuba equipment, air-conditioned accommodation, breakfast, and high-speed boat transfers to and from the airport.
3.5. Exclusions:
Airfare, lunch, dinner, tips, optional add-on dives (post-certification), extra water sports, and snorkelling experiences are not included.
4. Activities and Services
4.1. Snorkeling Trips:
Half day trip
4.2. Diving:
Each dive lasts about 45 minutes plus boat time. Optional add-on dives (post-certification) and night dives for certified divers are available at an extra cost.
4.3. Water Sports:
Packages include fixed-duration kayaking, jet skiing, paddle boating, and fun tubing. Any additional use beyond the included duration will incur extra charges.
5. Safety and Health Requirements
5.1. Medical Questionnaire:
All divers must complete a medical questionnaire and sign a liability waiver prior to diving.
5.2. Certification:
Divers must hold a valid scuba diving certification from a recognized agency.
5.3. Safety Instructions:
Divers must adhere to the safety instructions and guidelines provided by Fleetfoot team.
5.4. Service Refusal:
Fleetfoot Adventures reserves the right to refuse service to anyone deemed unfit to dive or who does not follow recommended safety procedures.
6. Equipment
6.1. Provided:
Scuba equipment, including wetsuits, life jackets, dive computers, fins, and masks and snorkelling gear.
6.2. Damage:
Any damage to rental equipment caused by negligence will be charged to the diver.
6.3. Safety Standards:
Personal equipment must meet Fleetfoot's safety standards.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
7.1. General Policy:
Fleetfoot Adventures is not liable for delays, cancellations, force majeure, or other causes beyond their direct control. In such cases, no refunds will be made.
7.2. Cancellation Fees:
- Cancellations made within one month (30 days) of departure will incur a 30% cancellation charge. Note : fees paid towards procuring e-learning is non-refundable
- After 30 days, the cancellation fee as per the hotel policy will also be applicable.
7.3. Rescheduling:
Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Requests to reschedule should be made as early as 45 days before travel date.
7.4. Refund Process:
Refunds will be processed within 30 business days of receiving a valid cancellation request. All refunds will be issued through the original payment method.
7.5. Force majeure :
We are not liable for any delays, cancellations or other issues caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or any other factors beyond our control.

8. Liability
8.1. Responsibility:
Fleetfoot is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the dive.
8.2. Insurance:
Dive and travel insurance are optional but highly recommended. Buy your dive insurance - DAN Europe - Buy your dive insurance - IDA. For travel insurance, consult your travel agent.
9. Conduct
9.1. Behaviour:
Divers must behave responsibly and respectfully towards staff, other divers, and marine life.
9.2. Removal:
Fleetfoot reserves the right to remove any diver from a dive trip for inappropriate behaviour.
10. Miscellaneous
10.1. Changes to Terms:
Fleetfoot reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
10.2. Agreement:
By booking a dive with Fleetfoot, divers agree to these terms and conditions.
10.3. Photographs and Videos:
By signing up to dive with Fleetfoot , you’re granting us permission to capture photographs and videos of you and your children. These images may be used for promotional purposes on our social media, website, and other marketing materials. If you have any concerns or wish to opt out, please notify us in writing before your participation.
