INTRODUCE YOUR WATER BABY TO SCUBA
This PADI program is a fun, beginner-friendly dive experience for kids aged 8 and up. It lets them explore underwater safely while learning basic scuba skills.
In less than 6 feet of confined water, kids use child sized gear and our qualified dive instructors gently introduce them to the underwater world giving them a sense of what it feels like to blow lots and lots of bubbles. It’s an exciting first step into the world of scuba diving!
PREREQUISITES
- Minimum age: 8 years and above
- Must be comfortable in water
- No prior swimming skills are required, but children should feel at ease in the aquatic environment.
WHAT THEY LEARN
- Experience scuba diving under supervised care of PADI instructors in a safe environment
- Take their first breath underwater
- Learn about scuba diving and how to use scuba diving equipment made specifically for children

WHAT NEXT?
Once your child is between the ages of 10-14 years, he/she is eligible for the Junior PADI Open Water Diver course.
Today was so much fun! I got to try scuba diving with something called Bubble Maker. I put on the scuba gear, which was really cool but kinda heavy. Breathing underwater was like magic—I felt like a fish! We saw turtles and Nemos (you know, like in the movie!) and lots of other bright, colourful fish. It was like being in an aquarium. I can't wait to do this again with my Dad when I'm 10 years old.

The Bubblemaker is as fun as it sounds! I felt so light underwater. My first dive was the best, and I totally loved it. The group I went with was awesome—they cheered for me when I finished my first dive and made me feel really special. And guess what? I got an ice cream! I miss my turtle friend and really hope I can go back again soon.

Bubblemaker
I started with Fleetfoot at 8, snorkeling and doing my first Bubblemaker dive with a tank almost bigger than me. I got my certification as soon as I turned 10. Fleetfoot not only sparked my love for diving and the ocean, but also inspired my interest in marine biology.
Recently, I earned my rescue diver certification at 17, which boosted my confidence as a diver and ocean ambassador. I’m also proud to be the first Jr. Fleetbuddy to complete 100 dives at 16, with almost all of them with Fleetfoot—they are family, and I always come back.

I’ve been diving with Fleetfoot for years, exploring Maldives, Sipadan and more. What sets them apart is their personalized attention and safety standards. This time, I took my 8-year-old daughter and 9-year-old nephew for their first underwater experience. We did Bubble Maker dives and some snorkeling, and I was impressed by how patient and attentive the instructors were. The kids had an absolute blast wearing kid sized scuba gear, learning how to breathe and feeling weightless underwater. Seeing their faces light up as they spotted their favourite marine creatures was priceless. . I can’t wait for them to turn 10 so they can scuba dive with us!
