1. Knowledge Development (8-10 hrs)
An online independent study to understand the basic principles of scuba diving through theory and video sessions. Complete with a quiz and simple test.
2. Confined Water Dives (Sessions for
4+ hrs)
Learn basic scuba skills in a swimming pool or in the shallow lagoon. Practice these skills under the guidance of a PADI certified instructor
3. Open Water Dives
Apply and develop your knowledge and dive skills in the open ocean under your instructor's supervision. Dive up to a depth of 18m / 60 ft.
4 open water ocean dives required.
YOU CAN OPT TO DO THE OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION IN 2 WAYS:
Option 1
begin the certification process in India and complete it in Maldives
- Complete your online theory and confined water (pool) training at Bangalore.
- Arrive in The Maldives, ready to get straight into the water, to do your skill modules for your 'Open Water' dives.
- This option helps you save time and allows you to pack in more dives and experience more of the pristine blue waters.

After completing the first 2 modules (knowledge development and confined water), you get a universally accepted referral form with the unique code from PADI.
On completion of 4 required ocean dives, we use the unique code for your final certification.
Option 2
do theory in India and entire certification in Maldives
- Do the online knowledge development theory modules in India before arriving in The Maldives.
- The confined water training session is held in a beautiful blue shallow lagoon.
- This way you get comfortable in the water, helping you immerse yourself easily into the diving experience.
- We know some of the great dive spots in the area and ensure that your first experience underwater will be worth its while.
